For more than 18 years EDM-Technik GmbH intelligent modernization solutions combine current technology with extensive knowledge and experience of machine tools.
The location of Mechernich has a long tradition in regard to machine tool manufacturing. Since the early 50th the DÖRRIES Company has manufactured in today’s EDM-Technik GmbH’s facility a wide range of machine tools. In the 90th, when the DÖRRIES machine tool production was moved from Mechernich to Mönchengladbach, some of the former employees decided to start a new company, offering machine tool service. EDM-Technik GmbH was born.
Shortly after EDM-Technik GmbH was founded by former DÖRRIES employees in 1998, it was clear where the journey goes.
By ever more demanding challenges of the customers EDM-Technik GmbH has developed to become one of the leading enterprises in the field of machine tool overhaul and modernization.
